The Rocks is set within 15 acres of arable land, which we use to graze our horses, and is in a secluded, private rural location, offering you the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our home is ideal for anyone who wishes to be a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Belfast and beyond, happy in the knowledge that they have a home-away-from-home in which to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful Northern Ireland.

At The Rocks Bed and Breakfast, we’re proud to be a truly dog-friendly B&B in Northern Ireland. Three of our beautifully appointed rooms welcome dogs, with thoughtful touches including a comfy dog bed, water bowl, and tasty treats to help your four-legged companion feel right at home.
Each of our dog-friendly rooms can accommodate up to two large dogs or three smaller dogs. If you’re travelling with a mix of breeds or sizes, just chat with us – we’re always happy to help.
Our location is perfect for exploring Northern Ireland with your dog. Just a short drive away, Cave Hill Country Park, Divis, and the Black Mountain offer fantastic walking trails and open landscapes for memorable dog-friendly adventures.
We’re also putting the finishing touches on our very own “Tail Trail” — a scenic walk winding through 15 acres of countryside right here on the property. It’s ideal for a relaxed stroll with your dog, (or if you don’t have a dog!) with the added charm of watching our horses grazing nearby.

The Rocks Bed and Breakfast, snuggled in the beautiful County Antrim countryside, assures you of a great nights’ sleep in this peaceful rural location, oblivious of both road and airport noise…yet just a short drive away, you will find Belfast International Airport (10 minutes away), Belfast City Centre (20 minutes away) and Templepatrick village (10 minutes from the Rocks B&B).
Your own transport is recommended, as The Rocks B&B is not within walking distance of any public transport, restaurants or shops.
We will be very happy to book you a taxi during your stay if you prefer not to drive.

Check-in is between 16:00 and 19:00, and check-out is at 10:30. There is an option for early check-in or late checkout FOC for guests who have booked direct (subject to availability). Please advise your requirements at the time of booking and we will confirm if it’s possible to accommodate an early check-in or a later check-out.
A delicious cooked breakast is included in the price, it’s one of the highlights of staying at The Rocks!
Of course! Children are welcome at The Rocks Bed and Breakfast. We can provide a high chair, cot, bed guard and stair guard (for our upper floor) on request and free of charge. Please contact us for further details.
We welcome well-behaved dogs for a charge of £10 per dog/per stay (please see our T&C’s for further information)

Crumlin, Templepatrick and Antrim are all a 10 minutes drive from The Rocks Bed and Breakfast.
Please note there is no public transport within a 2 mile walk from the Rocks, a reliable taxi service is available but a car would give you the most flexibility during your stay.
No, we supply clean bed linen and towels for your stay, bed linen will be changed on day 5 of your stay. For towels, the rule is if you leave the towel on the floor of the shower they will be replaced with fresh ones, but to help the environment we would be grateful if you would reuse towels where possible by hanging them up on the heated towel rail. However, if you require fresh towels daily, that’s not a problem.
Thank you for asking! Yes, we do. We really appreciate that you leave your muddy boots and all muddy items just inside the front door. If you have any muddy boots, please let us know and we will provide you with a little deposit box to leave them until your next wear!
We recommend all guests have their own transport, The Rocks is not near any transport links. Taxis are an option but can be expensive.
If you don’t wish to drive into Belfast, there is a park and ride a short drive away, where you can park your car, hop on a bus and explore the city!
Guests may cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. If a guest cancels in the 7 days before arrival the total price of the reservation will not be refundable. Please note that the full payment is taken 7 days before arrival.
Reservations are confirmed on receipt of your reservation by email or by phone. Bookings must be paid by acceptable and valid debit or credit card, bank transfer or by cash, cheques are no longer accepted or American Express.
Rates are per person, per room per night. If you have selected supplements they will be added to the total price of the booking.
Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change.
