Covid-19 is here for the foreseeable future. At The Rocks B&B we want to make you feel safe in our home… so we have introduced our ‘New normal Policy’ for our guest’s protection.

COVID-19 HAS CHANGED HOW WE DO THINGS


We have amended our working policies to ensure everyone’s safety

In line with government guidelines, The Rocks has carried out the following:-

Risk assessment – we have conducted a thorough risk assessment in line with CIEH, Government and Tourism NI guidelines, identifying hazards and potential risks and taking precautions to minimize any identified risks.
Precautions – we have signage in place to remind everyone to wash and/or sanitise hands and additional signage to remind everyone to maintain a 2 metre distance. UK guidelines have brought in 1 metre social distancing but we will continue to adhere to 2 metres distancing in all areas, where possible to further protect everyone.
Social Distancing – we have put in place a number of measures to ensure that the risk from droplet infection is reduced, including increased ventilation, staggered eating times with 15 minute buffers between sittings, tables are a minimum of 2 metres apart to ensure guests are socially distanced and guests have the choice of eating outside (weather permitting). Alternatively, we can deliver breakfast to your room or provide you with a breakfast to go if you prefer.
Deep Cleaning and Laundry – At the Rocks B&B we have always maintained an extremely high standard of cleanliness, in addition to our usual standards we have increased cleaning all touch points throughout the property with disinfectant effective against Covid-19 and other pathogens.
Our bed linen and towels are professionally cleaned by an outside contractor to hospital standards, ensuring elimination of any possible infection.
Communication – we will keep in touch with you during your stay by email, text message, Whatsapp or phone, to relay any information.
Breakfasts are now ordered via our web app the night before, thus reducing both the risk of handling paper but also helping to save the environment! If you don’t have a smart phone, don’t worry we can assist you with your order.
