Visit Belfast

Explore Belfast’s seafaring history on the waterfront trail connecting key attractions along both sides of the River Lagan. Walk along the Maritime Mile starting on the city side of the river and follow the historic trail from Sailortown and St Joseph’s Church to Clarendon Buildings, passing key sites including the dry and wet docks, the Salmon of Knowledge (or as we call it “the big fish”), the SS Normadic, the Titanic the Great light and Thompson Dock which is the 415ft long dry dock where RMS Titanic was fitted out.
Belfast City has so much to offer….beautiful architecture including St. Annes Cathedral, Belfast City Hall and Queen’s University to mention a few. Belfast is home of some of the oldest pubs in Northern Ireland, check out The Duke of York, The Crown Liquor Saloon and Kelly’s Cellars. There are walking tours, cab tours and hop on hop of bus tours, highlighting some of the good, the bad and the ugly (check out Crumlin Road Gaol) of our city’s history along with all the great things that it has to offer!
